Kindle just announced their new Kindle Fire.....supposed to be very similar in ability to the Apple Ipad......I will never be able to afford an Ipad, but there is hope for a Kindle. Probably not the Fire, but......they also dropped the prices for the regular Kindles. I'm thinking maybe a Kindle Touch. I'm still debating whether I will want a 3G or not.....would be handy, but is it worth the additional cost?

I continue to save money. I just earned another Amazon gift card from Swagbucks.....and as part of my "workout incentive plan" I've earned another $5 to add to the stash. I am very hopefull that maybe I will be able to get one by the first of the year.
If you've got a Kindle, let me know how you like it. I really do want to know!

Hey Carie, How does the Swagbucks work? Are they easy to deal with, do you have to put money into it? lol I want a kindle too!
I have a kindle, the first one they put out and it is really nice! Espiecally since u can get some books on there b4 they are released. on the downside is if you like the feel and look of a real book then that is what is missing.
I'd like to get a Kindle someday, too. There are lots of e-books out there that would make a Kindle helpful to have.
